Pratt & Whitney’s Mechanical Systems Externals & Nacelles (MSEN) organization is seeking a Business Manager to lead a high‑impact team driving excellence in budget management, workforce planning, strategic outsourcing, and overhead reporting. What You Will Do:

Collaborate with MSEN executives and Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) leaders to deliver business outcomes for Commercial and Military programs, managing budgets, staffing, productivity tracking, and overhead reporting with accuracy and timeliness.

Direct a team of CIPT business managers to integrate, analyze, and report cost, earned value, and productivity data, ensuring actionable insights for engineering leaders.

Align business needs across executives, directors, managers, and CIPT leaders to drive organizational efficiency and program success.

Build team capability through effective assignments, hiring decisions, and tailored development plans that enhance performance and career growth.

Oversee monthly budget and staffing reports for the MSEN global workforce, conducting internal reviews to ensure accuracy and integration.

Lead staffing and productivity gap-closure strategies, manage outsource Statements of Work (SOWs), and ensure compliance with global workforce standards.

Implement business process and tool enhancements, while benchmarking with Finance and Engineering Business Strategy teams to strengthen outcomes and support MSEN’s long-term success.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, or Accounting, and 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience includes business, financial, and/or accounting function experience.

Department/Segment Overview:
Mechanical Systems, Externals, & Nacelles (MSEN): The MSEN Engineering organization is responsible for the design, development, and in-service support of power transmission systems, bearing compartment and rotor support design and analysis, oil and thermal management systems, engine externals packaging and architecture, as well as nacelles for commercial and military engine models. Technical disciplines include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Product Definition, System Modeling, Mechanical Design analysis for bearings, gears, and seals, and fluid-thermal modeling of associated components and systems.

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
