Product Technology Leader
What does a Product Technology Leader do at Fiserv?
The Product Technology Leader will serve as a vital interface with Fiserv’s top clients to provide both technical and product direction to achieve the intended outcomes of the relationship. In this capacity, the Product Technology Leader will be assigned to specific accounts and see the account through its full lifecycle.
This role seeks to create a relationship with clients at the product and technology personas. Through this relationship, the Product Technology leader will need to explain the Fiserv products and technology stack. Similarly, will need to be able to apply that knowledge into the clients environment and provide direction on how to achieve the desired outcomes through the use of these products and technology.
It is expected that this role would be comfortable working with the CTO, CPO and similar roles on the client side. Similarly, this role will need to represent the top-level product and technology leaders from Fiserv in these forums.
What you will do:
Understand the Fiserv, Merchant technology and be able to apply it to client use
Be able to manage and adapt current technology solutions to meet client outcomes. Similarly, to propose and interface to technology teams working to alter technology to fit client needs. This would also involve managing this lifecycle with a client – discovery, documentation, development, delivery/testing, pilot and roll-out
Think and lead like a client. Be able to see things from a client lens and to be able to translate that into the way in which Fiserv delivers value to its clients.
Communicate any level technical concept to clients on behalf of the technology organization.
Communicate any level product solution to clients on behalf of any part of the merchant product organization.
Be the day-to-day contact for clients on escalations, issues and other client- requested items.
What you need to have:
10+ years working within product management & development within the Payments industry
10+ years experience working in the client side of acquiring/processing
Ownership experience of integration processes to an acquirer or acquiring processor
Proven experience working with external clients and stakeholders
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
What is nice to have:
Engineering background within the Payments industry
Direct experience with POS and eCommerce systems and how they support physical and digital payment transaction flows at the POS
Experience with VAS services like fraud, tokenization, routing and optimization
Experience working with multiple, distinct payment acquirers
Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field
Salary Range
$163,200.00 - $244,800.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in Sunnyvale, California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
