Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for driving process transformation across Procurement functional areas (e.g., Category/Site Buyers, Supplier Development Engineer, and related interfaces) through the use of technology and data analytics. It will identify and develop business and process improvement opportunities with internal and external partners to implement solutions that enhance productivity and reduce manual work. This position will also act as PROcure process owner at CBL Piracicaba.
What you will do:
- Act as a project lead on digital strategic initiatives within the Procurement team
- Support procurement teams with data + analytics · Support the team’s professional development in data and analytics.
- Identifying, defining and implementing integrated solutions through the use and development of technologies, including building internal and external alliances to explore opportunities which will result in performance improvements.
- Establishing effective linkages, partnerships and best practices with business partners and internal functions.
- Investigating and incorporating industry benchmarks, metrics and best practices to develop optimal Procurement solutions.
- Developing and analyzing data and information to identify and prioritize opportunities for improving performance and cost.
What you will have:
Business Process Improvement: Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying, evaluating, introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities.
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Effective Communications: Understanding effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Basic requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Pre-Advanced English.
- Extensive process and application development through Office 365 (PBI, Power Automate, Power App, AI Tools).
Top candidates will also have:
- Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Mfg Engineering
- Knowledge/Interaction of/with Intelligent Automation
- A Lean or continuous improvement background.
- An ability to translate technical and business language, creating a bridge between the support organization and the Caterpillar business they serve.
- Project Leader.
- Python .
