The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation and maintenance of all HVAC and related building systems across the site. This role leads technicians and vendors, ensures compliance in a GMP environment, and drives maintenance execution and system reliability.
What your day-to-day will look like
Lead and supervise HVAC technicians and contractors to ensure safe and efficient operations
Own execution of preventive and corrective maintenance with focus on uptime and quality
Troubleshoot complex system issues and drive root cause analysis
Ensure all work complies with safety policies, GMP requirements, and site procedures
Ensure all work performed under supervision complies with applicable state codes and licensing requirements
Coordinate and oversee vendor work for quality, scope, and schedule adherence
Maintain accurate documentation in CMMS (labor, materials, completion notes)
Support planning/scheduling to align labor with operational priorities
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or capital upgrades
Respond to system alarms, failures, and emergencies
Coach and develop technical staff
Required Qualifications
5+ years HVAC experience; supervisory experience required
EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, BAS/BMS, and mechanical troubleshooting
Proficient in CMMS and Microsoft Office
Must hold a valid Massachusetts Refrigeration License (Journeyman or Master)
Must hold or be able to obtain a Massachusetts HVAC/Refrigeration Contractor registration (or equivalent business license if required)
Responsible for reviewing and signing off on technician work and hours in accordance with Massachusetts licensing regulations

Estimated compensation for this position:
90,000.00 – 110,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
