Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Canada Payroll Manager to oversee and
manage all aspects of payroll operations for our Canadian workforce. The ideal candidate
will have extensive experience in Canadian payroll processing, a deep understanding of
payroll legislation, and expertise in handling ROE, Tax, and T4 compliance. This role
requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and
compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all Canadian employees, ensuring
accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain and stay current with Canadian payroll legislation, including updates to
employment standards, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
• Prepare, review, and file Records of Employment (ROE) in accordance with Service
Canada guidelines.
• Calculate and remit payroll taxes, CPP, EI, and other statutory deductions
accurately and on time.
• Prepare and distribute T4 slips annually, ensuring compliance with CRA
requirements.
• Ensure proper classification of employees and contractors, and handle any payroll
discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed payroll records and documentation in compliance with legal and
company standards.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Audit teams to ensure seamless payroll
integration and compliance.
• Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and statutory reporting.
• Implement and improve payroll processes, systems, and controls to enhance
efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven experience managing payroll for Canadian employees, with a strong
understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of ROE, T4, and payroll tax regulations in Canada.
• Experience with payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Ceridian, ADP, SAP, or
equivalent).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information
professionally.
• Knowledge of employment standards and statutory requirements across Canadian
provinces.
• Certification in payroll administration (e.g., CPP, CPPA) is a plus.
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or
related field preferred.
