Role Summary:
We are looking for Senior eCommerce Sales Consultant to join our Customer Experience & eCommerce team as part of Caterpillar’s Customer Solutions Core Regions Division.
This role will have responsibility for driving eCommerce sales growth and digital utilization across the Eastern United States, working closely with Caterpillar dealers, internal digital, marketing, and commercial teams, and various other cross-functional partners.
About Customer Solutions Core Regions Division
The Customer Solutions Core Regions Division is committed to solving customer challenges that extend beyond purchasing machines and parts. This team, alongside dealers, engages more closely with customers to create, customize, and adapt solutions that meet their needs—leveraging Caterpillar’s extensive range of offerings across products and services, digital and technology, rental and used equipment, and financing.
The division is regionally focused on the unique needs of customers in core markets, including Americas North, Europe, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, with an emphasis on scalable, customer-centric solutions that drive long-term value and growth.
What You’ll Do (Job Duties)
Serve as the eCommerce commercial specialist for Construction Industries, supporting the Eastern U.S. dealer network and associated field-facing teams.
Plan and lead the development of exclusive eCommerce promotions and marketing campaigns for Construction Industries.
Drive eCommerce sales growth and increased digital utilization through strategic messaging, national sales campaign support, and data-driven insights.
Support regional rollout of eCommerce enhancements and sales tools—including promotions, incentive programs, and new digital features—in partnership with Industry, Digital, and Pricing teams.
Act as a resource for industry expertise and customer experience, supporting go-to-market planning, dealer enablement, workshops, and training initiatives.
Communicate the Voice of the Customer (VOC) and Voice of the Dealer (VOD) to help guide platform prioritization, system improvements, and future eCommerce investments.
What You Have (Core Skills)

Business Development: Knowledge of business development tools, techniques and approaches; ability to explore and develop potential areas of business growth for the organization.
Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.
Top Candidates Will Also Have
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in sales, digital commerce, customer solutions, or commercial strategy
Direct customer-facing or dealer-facing experience, preferably in a distribution or industrial environment
Additional Information
Willing to travel in territory at least 35%
This position is located in Peoria, IL or Irving, TX

Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
