Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect with Finance SAP experience to support development and be primary POC for Finance in support of Data Analytics / Data Architect requirements to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our ERP implementation aligns with our Enterprise Data Strategy and Enterprise Reference Architecture policies, procedures, and best practices.
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving the success of the Enterprise Common Reporting initiative, utilizing cutting-edge tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Fiori, and CDS Views, as well as EDE CloudPak for data management, to design and deliver high-quality reporting solutions that meet the evolving needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordination of Finance Software Development associated mainly with reporting
Data Strategy: Ensure ERP implementation stays in alignment with DAIE Enterprise Data Strategy and Enterprise Reference Architecture (ERA) policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Data Architecture Design: Maintain an understanding of the data managed across applications for the ERP Enterprise Solution and develop a deeper understanding where necessary for business success.
• Data Governance: Create and maintain a data catalog which records data lineage, data sensitivity, access, and governance requirements.
• Data Quality: Advocate and support implementing solutions that maintain and enforce data quality.
• Data Integration: Ensure data is integrated across various sources in the varying portfolio’s and define how data is and should be moving between and within systems.
• Coordination across Technical Teams: Coordinate with technical teams to support other related functions, including ERP, Data Security, Developers, DAIE, Data Quality, and Data Warehousing.
• This individual will also serve as a mentor and guide for junior developers, sharing their expertise and experience to nurture and develop the next generation of analytics professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• In-depth knowledge and expertise in SAP ERP Finance, with a strong understanding of financial processes, systems, and applications, including financial planning, accounting, and reporting.
• Proficient in SAP S/4 HANA Analytics, with a solid understanding of tools such as FIORI, S/4 Analytics, and data warehousing. Able to evaluate functional requirements and select the most suitable analytic tool to meet business needs, ensuring effective data analysis and insights.
• Strong understanding of Functional Specifications, enabling the ability to accurately estimate requirements and provide informed recommendations for tool selection, ensuring that solutions meet business needs and are properly aligned with technical capabilities.
• A seasoned SAP Analytics expert with strong technical leadership skills, capable of designing and implementing complex analytics solutions.
Product Lifecycle Stage Tasking and Responsibilities
• SRR/SDR: Consulted for spec completion during SDR.
• Functional Spec Creation and Approval: Included in working sessions and spec writing, with regular review of work in progress and mandatory approval on all functional specs.
• Coding and Unit Testing Support: Advise developers on where to find the data needed to support ongoing development.
• Technical Spec Creation and Approval: Approve TS that impact overall data structures or data flows.
• ITC Testing: Help testers find relevant test objects that meet testing criteria.
• Cutover / UAT: Advise cutover planning team in each cycle prior to cutover plan approval.

Basic Qualifications:•Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, quality, and integration.
•Experience with ERP systems and data management in the Financial Accounting and Cost Accounting domains
•Proficient in SAP S/4 HANA Analytics
•Excellent communication and coordination skills.
•Ability to work with technical teams and stakeholders.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills:•Experience with data cataloging and data lineage.
•Knowledge of 1LMX policy and Data Sensitivity and Access Control Guidelines.
•Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and IT service management frameworks.
•Experience with ERP systems and data management in the Tax Domain
•Experience with ERP systems and data management in the Product Costing and Tax domains

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $131,000 - $227,125. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
