Job Description
At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role will be based in New York or San Francisco.
We’re looking for a Director of Brand & Creator Partnerships to define how partnerships drive both cultural relevance and business impact across consumer and enterprise audiences. This leader will build and scale a function that moves beyond one-off activations to a system of partnerships that compound over time, strengthening the LinkedIn brand while delivering against distinct audience and business goals.
The right candidate is a strategic, culturally fluent leader who can bridge consumer and enterprise, turning creator and brand partnerships into scalable systems that drive both relevance and measurable business impact.
You will sit at the intersection of culture, strategy, data, and distribution, translating emerging trends into scalable partnership opportunities that resonate with both members and customers. This includes shaping how LinkedIn shows up in culture, while also unlocking partnerships that support enterprise priorities such as demand generation, credibility, and category leadership.
You will lead how LinkedIn identifies, structures, and activates partnerships across creators, brands, and cultural moments, ensuring a cohesive approach across consumer and enterprise marketing. This role requires strong judgment in balancing brand-building with performance, and in navigating when a partnership should be broad and cultural vs. targeted and business-driven.
This is a senior leadership role with clear ownership over strategy, prioritization, and execution, requiring influence across Marketing, Comms, Business Development, and Paid Media. Success in this role will depend on the ability to align multiple stakeholders, create shared value across audiences, and build repeatable models that scale across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and scale a high-performing Brand & Creator Partnerships team, setting a clear bar for strategic thinking, execution, and accountability
- Define and drive the short- and long-term partnerships vision, aligned to company priorities and audience growth opportunities
- Architect and evolve the agency ecosystem and operating model, ensuring the right partners, structure, and economics to deliver quality and speed at scale
- Design and pilot new partnership models (creator, brand, cultural, platform) that unlock access to new audiences and create outsized leverage for the business
- Translate consumer insights, performance data, and AI-driven intelligence into partnership strategies that drive measurable member and business impact
- Establish clear success metrics and learning agendas, leveraging AI and analytics to continuously optimize partnership performance and inform investment decisions
- Build and implement an AI-enabled operating rhythm across the team
- Operate as the central integrator across functions (Business Development, Social, Creative, B2B Marketing, Comms, Legal, Sourcing), ensuring alignment from strategy through execution
- Build repeatable frameworks and decision models that enable teams to move faster and with greater consistency
- Identify and activate high-impact cultural moments and opportunities that position LinkedIn in new and relevant ways
- Ensure partnerships are embedded early in campaign and content development, not layered on downstream
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years in marketing
- 5+ years as a people leader
- 3+ years of partnerships in the consumer or enterprise space
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strategic thinker, curious, self starter, not afraid to roll up their sleeves
- Proven track record of developing brand and creator partnerships for a consumer tech, media, or global CPG brand that is mission-driven
- Comfortable creating learning/measurement plans and asking questions to understand how programs can deliver business goals
- Confident navigating ambiguous projects and influencing without authority
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to develop deck presentations and communicate to various levels of seniority
- Ability to work independently in a highly dynamic, cross-functional environment
- Thrives in highly collaborative environment and welcomes input from diverse perspectives
- Understanding of and passion for the social media space and cultural zeitgeist is a plus
- Agency management
