Description:Reporting to the Director for Operations and Labor Relations, this role will drive strategy for our Labor & Employee Relations organization across all of Rotary and Mission Systems including support in collective bargaining, arbitrations, contract administration, positive employee relations & union avoidance. The candidate will assist in L&ER strategic planning, ensuring execution, and help to execute the business strategy as it pertains to Labor Relations. This includes managing the Operations Labor Relations team which will manage data analytics and maintain policies and processes. In partnership with the Enterprise Labor & Employee Relations team, this role helps to lead our Positive Employee Relations (PER) programs and processes including our Employee Relations Leadership (ERL) training. The role will help to drive operational excellence in the delivery of the Labor Relations function. The candidate will support negotiations as needed, help in the development of bargaining strategies, and act in a consultative manner to provide Labor Relations advice and counsel. They will also interface with union representatives to build effective union-company relations. Candidate will manage and/or collaborate on L&ER and enterprise wide projects/initiatives. Will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Communications, and Operations. To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess strong leadership, project management, and collaboration skills, along with the ability to provide advice and counsel on complex Labor Relations matters. They must also be adaptable and willing to travel frequently to support the organization's needs which could include travel up to 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
Basic Qualifications:• Minimum ten years of experience in labor relations, employee relations, or a related field
• Proven track record of success in labor relations, including experience with collective bargaining, grievance resolution, and conflict management
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and company policies
• Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze complex labor relations data and develop strategic solutions
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects through full lifecycle (design, develop, implement) and deliver impactful results
• Experience leading CBA negotiations and managing the grievance and arbitration process
• Prior positive employee relations & union avoidance experience
Desired Skills:• Master's degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present solutions to issues in a concise manner to varying levels of leadership
• Experience with labor relations software and systems, such as HRIS, Sodales and labor relations databases
• At least three years of experience in a formal leadership role
• Must demonstrate strong decision making, judgment, and business acumen skills
• Capability to influence and develop credibility among executive leadership, union leadership, and colleagues
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; effective listening skills
• Effective project leadership and execution
• Prior experience leading a union organizing campaign

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
