Description:What You Will Be DoingResponsible for corresponding with internal and external customers in support of organizational objectives.
Works efficiently in a production environment, reading technical documents, supporting process reviews, and communicating at multiple levels internal and external to the organization.
Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, and works under general direction to independently solve complex technical problems.
Position will be task order direct with primary responsibilities supporting MFC SOF GLSS Aviation Programs located in Crestview Florida.
Responsibilities include:
Technical support of manufacturing teams performing airframe upgrade/retrofit actions.
Conceptualizes designs and manufactures tooling solutions for integration activities.
Investigates and implements process improvements.
Investigates defects and establishes root cause and corrective action.
Provides floor support for integration activities.
Reviews engineering designs for producibility.
Develops/optimizes manufacturing processes, specifications and work instructions for mechanical and electrical builds.
Interface and coordinate with Design Engineering, Production Control, Quality, and Production Operations to ensure that producibility concerns are addressed and offer solutions to production issues.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
Strong teaming and organizational skills
Proficient with MS Office suite
Knowledge of engineering drawing interpretation and tolerances.
Experience with Development of work centers, lead times, routings, and manufacturing bill of materials.
Experience in writing basic manufacturing planning work instructions
Competency in the review of specifications / processes and shop floor liaison support.
Understanding of configuration control principles
Desired Skills:Experience working in an AS9100 certified production environment
Fixed Wing Aircraft modernization/retrofit experience
Understanding of Teamcenter and SAP Engineering software packages.
Six Sigma Green Belt certified
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
