This temporary Test Technician will be responsible for providing comprehensive training and best practices on inverter testing, repair and troubleshooting, ensuring the high-quality standards are met. The successful candidate will work closely with technicians, providing troubleshooting expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and incorporate efficiencies to reduce costs, increase throughput and decrease turnaround time document test procedures, and maintain test equipment.
What You Will Do

Evaluate the processes and the repair and troubleshooting techniques of our EMA’s and test technicians.

Identify the gaps and discuss recommendations that will improve our cost throughput and turnaround time and ensure that all recommendations, test procedures and results are documented and filed in a designated SharePoint location.

Provide the breadth and depth needed to ensure consistent model is developed that is needed to ensure cost schedule and on time customer accomplishments are met.

Conduct functional and performance testing on electronic and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and resolve test failures and anomalies.

Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test processes and methodologies. and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.

Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience testing inverters.

Proficiency with testing equipment and software.

Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications We Prefer

Previous experience reading and understanding technical drawings and schematics.

Troubleshoot electronic systems and equipment at a component level using schematics, test equipment and technical procedures.

High level of accuracy in conducting tests and documenting results

This is a temporary position of undetermined length.
The hourly rate for this role is $28.85 to $54.81. The compensation range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
