The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities Discipline is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon, responsible for defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Verification and Validation, test capabilities, Life Cycle and System Security Engineering (SSE).
The LTAMDS/GhostEye Department is seeking a Production Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) to join the LTAMDS program to support the Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) contract. The Production LSE is an integral part of the Production Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE) and is the principal arbiter of Systems requirements and design. The LSE supports the OCE to ensure technical execution and system compliance to contractual requirements.
This position is be located in Tewksbury, MA and may require occasional travel.
What You Will Do:
Responsibilities of the Lead Systems Engineer include:

Responsible for driving technical development & performance of production-related Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) activities.

Responsible for developing and executing the production requirements verification strategy in alignment with the overall LTAMDS requirements verification strategy.

Responsible for ensuring that LTAMDS production hardware meets performance and non-performance requirements at the A-spec, B-spec and C-spec levels.

Analyzes production data to ensure complex requirements have been met.

Extensive interaction with program Test Architects, Chief Engineers, Lead Systems Engineers, Program Managers, IPT/CPT Leads, Operations, Supply Chain and Technical SMEs.

Coordinate with other program IPTs/CPTs to draw on their subject matter experts to address emergent issues across the systems, software, and hardware domains.

Interface with the customer community on a regular basis to share test status, issues, and address programmatic concerns.

Support technical roadmap development and proposal activities
-
Willing to travel in support of program needs – both domestic and international.
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.

Experience effectively leading multidisciplinary teams of engineering professionals
-
Experience leading teams using tools/metrics in managing activities and interfacing with senior program/functional management
Qualifications We Prefer:
-
Self-starter – proactive in determining goals and objectives and pursuing the necessary course of action

Experience as a technical lead or Lead Systems Engineer on previous programs
-
Experience with MS Windows operating system and MS Office products
-
Experience in schedule development, action item management, requirement change management, and overall development and progress metrics
-
Experience working with external customers; including USG, or FMS partners
-
Prior proposal experience
-
EVMS Certified (or equivalent)
-
Knowledge navigating the organization and working with stakeholders across the company to develop solutions to key program challenges
-
Technical leadership and guidance of multi-disciplined teams in the design and development of system requirements and design.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
