Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Travel Services Department is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Analyst - Travel Services.
In line with Toyota’s values of customer first, collaboration, and delivering exceptional experiences, the person in this role will play a critical role in advancing the department’s strategic goals. This position is responsible for elevating team member travel experience, ensuring adaptability to evolving business needs and external factors, strengthening policy compliance, and driving initiatives to minimize travel expenses. By fostering teamwork and integrating creative solutions, the role directly supports Toyota’s mission to create a respectful, dynamic workplace where employees are empowered to Dream, Do, and Grow.
What you’ll be doing
Oversee the daily management of travel service mailbox inquiries, deliver high-level customer service support, and liaise with agencies and suppliers to resolve issues. Offer expert assistance for policy inquiries and address profile discrepancies to ensure accurate booking information is maintained.
Provide advice and guidance on international business travel compliance to globally mobile team members.
Identify and deliver extended stay options suitable for assignment and project-related travel.
Create and deliver travel education programs to enhance user knowledge and compliance with travel policies and tools.
Provide accounting and reporting support for the travel team. Process payment, billing, and journal entry requests, and reconcile travel-related transactions. Deliver ad hoc reports to internal stakeholders as required.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures; recommend and implement new or revised policies and practices to support Travel Services operations.
What you bring
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional work experience in Business Administration, Travel and Hospitality, Marketing, Communications or related discipline
Proven experience managing high-volume service mailboxes and providing exceptional customer service, including direct communication with external agencies and suppliers
Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple assignments and prioritize work effectively
Experience developing, updating, and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and recommending process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Effective presentation, communications, and storytelling abilities to engage large audiences
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook, Forms)
Added bonus if you have
Experience with Corporate Travel Management, account management or operations experience with a Travel Management Company or airline
Knowledge of global mobility policies, immigration laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
Hands on experience maintaining content for a travel portal site or similar intranet site. (FCM SharePoint, etc.)
Proficiency administering an online travel booking tool and / or travel profile system
Proficiency in using HRIS systems and other relevant HR tools.
Demonstrated aptitude in accounting support, including processing payments, billing, journal entries, and reconciling travel-related financial transactions
Proficiency using Sabre or alternate global distribution system (GDS) for travel booking
