Description:You will be the Production Control Associate Manager - Level 4 for the Production Control team which is responsible for overseeing all day‑to‑day production control activities.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Production Control Associate Manager - Level 4 you will be responsible for leading the Production Control organization and ensuring seamless material flow that supports schedule and customer commitments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead Production Control supervisors and associates, directing daily shipping, receiving, stocking, kitting, and inventory tracking.
- Coordinate recruitment, training, performance assessment, and disciplinary actions for the team.
- Maintain material flow between departments and external processors to meet production schedules and business goals.
- Identify and implement safety, process‑improvement, and 6S opportunities.
- Prepare, review, and deliver Production Control reports that support work‑schedule execution.

Basic Qualifications:• Solid understanding of Production Control processes and procedures including, shipping, receiving, kitting, inventory control, and logistics
• Manager / Supervisory experience in a Production Control environment
• 6S or Continuous Improvement tool experience
Desired Skills:• Knowledge of SAP and MRP environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong customer focus and business knowledge
• Working knowledge of HAZ-MAT handling and storage procedures and associated equipment
• Experience in Transportation Operations
• Able to lead a team and manage/resolve employee conflict
• A strong ability to drive change and deliver results
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work in a continuously changing environment
• Able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
• Able to work flexible hours and schedules
• Understands lean manufacturing concepts; ability to lead 6S and drive continuous improvement
• Ensures flow of parts, materials, and assemblies between or within departments
• Operate in a team environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
