This is a multi-faceted Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) position, working in support of Special Programs. The candidate will help develop, administer, and maintain a comprehensive security program in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. This individual will be required to routinely interface with all levels of management and government customers. You must be a self started and team player who has the ability to develop and implement solutions to a variety of complex problems. You must also be well organized with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks daily and effectively re-prioritize tasks when required with excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
What You Will Do
- Must be able to understand, implement and ensure compliance with the DoD Manual 5220.22-M NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related Industrial Security Guidance Manuals or Special Program Security directives.
- Assist in the develop, submit for approval, and implement security policies, procedures, and documentation specific to the program such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Security Plans, Operation Security (OPSEC) Plans, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), etc.
- Conduct self-inspections and participate in Government Inspections, and recommend /implement corrective actions as required.
- Create, update, and conduct various security briefings, training, and debriefings.
- Maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers, peers, and senior management across multiple sites and business units.
- Attend, support and participate in program meetings, staff meetings, telecons, etc.
- Respond to walk-in customers
- Process incoming and outgoing visits
- Investigate security incidents and prepare written reports
Qualifications You Must Have

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field

Experience in Program Security including Personnel Security, Physical/Technical Security, Information Assurance, COMSEC, and Security Awareness Training and Education

Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Qualifications We Prefer

Security related certification and training

Experience with JPAS and Access Commander databases

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
