Lead, conduct, and plan internal QMS audits for compliance to the AS9100 series of standards in support of the Raytheon Quality Management System. The focus of this role will be on our Central East coast region sites and will also include audits at other Raytheon locations.

Perform all formal responsibilities of a Sr. Manger and Lead Auditor such as audit team selection; audit planning; representing the audit team with Raytheon’s site stakeholders; conducting opening and closing meetings and daily debriefs with stakeholders; completing an audit report; and issuing, reviewing, approving formal corrective actions overseeing a team.

Serve as a liaison and interface to the Enterprise Audit Team during site audits.

Facilitate the Enterprise Audit schedules, logistics, and closure of corrective actions.

Serve as liaison and interface to the Raytheon’s Certification body during site certification or recertification audits.

Facilitate NQA audit schedules, logistics, and closure of corrective actions.

Prepare the sites for the Enterprise and NQA Audits.

Perform other audits as deemed appropriate at the sites.

Facilitate corrective action responses with process owners, including advanced root cause analysis resources.

Ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented and closed as scheduled.

Analyze audit performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement; recommend and facilitate Enterprise level improvement initiatives and actions.

Conduct comprehensive audit preparation and planning based on historical and current performance data.

Schedule Internal Audits based on risk and in support of Certification Body, Enterprise and other applicable audits while ensuring each Raytheon site has a full QMS audit annually.

Guide coverage of ISO9001 / AS9100 requirements
Qualification You Must Have
-
Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a ten (10) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience.

At least eight (8) years of QMS auditing experience within the aerospace or automotive industry.

Previous experience managing a small staff of auditors and/or previous lead auditor responsibilities

Working experience in auditing to the AS9100 standards.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer

Industry Aerospace Experienced Auditor (AEA) Certification.

Provide regional support to facilities located in VA, MD, NJ, MA and PA upon same day notice

American Society for Quality Certification/Certified Quality Auditor Certification (ASQ/CQA) Certification or equivalent.

Ability to function effectively without direct supervision.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
