Logistics Lead (APML)

The Logistics Lead (APML) directs logistics engineering and sustainment support for CuXS systems, ensuring supportability, maintainability, provisioning, and lifecycle logistics activities align to mission requirements. This role leads logistics planning, analysis, and execution and interfaces with program leadership and stakeholders to ensure logistics performance supports fielding and sustainment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead logistics engineering activities including feasibility analyses, maintenance and repair concepts, and sustainment planning.
- Perform and manage DMSMS and obsolescence analyses, including development of replacement recommendations and reporting.
- Oversee updates to provisioning parts lists and long‑lead item planning based on design or configuration changes.
- Maintain logistics data supporting configuration management and field change status accounting.
- Support FRACAS and FMEA activities to drive corrective actions and reliability improvements.
- Coordinate with supply, material control, and program stakeholders to support inventory accuracy, shipment tracking, and logistics reporting.
- Interface with program leadership to communicate logistics impacts, risks, and recommendations.
Basic Qualifications
- Clearance & Citizenship: Active/Current Secret, with eligibility to obtain Top Secret. U.S. citizenship required.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related discipline & 3+ years of experience, OR Associate’s degree & 7+ years of experience. Experience performing logistics engineering and sustainment support activities (ILS/R&M, provisioning, supportability).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting DMSMS, ILS, R&M, or lifecycle sustainment activities.
- Experience supporting fielded systems or aviation / defense programs.
- Familiarity with configuration management and logistics data systems.
- Prior Department of the Navy experience.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week.
Compensation: $86,000-$129,000. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
