Job Description:
This job is responsible for handling moderately complex operations processes related to credit disputes, escalations and tax reporting. Key responsibilities include analysis, research, reconciliation, reporting data validation and resolution of issues and identified customer requests which may carry high levels of risk within enterprise risk categories. Job expectations include handling moderately complex transaction processing, reconciliation, and resolution of research requests to clients, consumer reporting agencies or taxing authorities, consulting with management for support.
Line of Business Job Description:
This Operations role supports Private Bank Trust accounts through statement review, reconciliation, and issue resolution activities. The team is responsible for ensuring financial statement accuracy, investigating, and correcting out-of-balance conditions, and maintaining strong audit controls through daily reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to meet client and business needs.
Responsibilities:
Performs moderately complex activities supporting credit disputes, escalations, and tax reporting while following established written procedures and guidelines and ensuring accurate and timely delivery
Researches and resolves moderately complex financial data requests or exceptions based on analysis of assembled data in an accurate and timely manner
Performs routine analytics, report creation, and exception processing
Identifies risk and opportunities for process improvement based on an understanding the work impacts other operational units and escalates risk concerns, as appropriate
Provides quality service and support for internal business partners and external clients
Review and validate Private Bank client financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Investigate, resolve, and correct out-of-balance conditions and reporting discrepancies
Manage issue resolution across monthly, quarterly, and annual statement cycles
Monitor processes using daily audit controls and reconciliation reports to ensure integrity
Partner with front office, internal teams, and vendors to address inquiries, fulfill requests, and support operational initiatives
Required Qualifications
1+ year of operations experience
2+ years of PACE and/or PIERCE experience
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively partner with internal stakeholders
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues and determine efficient resolution paths
Ability to prioritize workload effectively based on urgency, risk, and business need
Strong sense of ownership with the ability to drive issues through to resolution
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
Foundational understanding of financial statements and statement reconciliation
Desired Qualifications
Experience with correspondence creation processes
Familiarity with systems such as PACE, Content Navigator, and CMOD
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to produce accurate, error-free work
Strong problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently once responsibilities are established
Proven ability to collaborate with multiple business partners and navigate across organizations
