Position Summary:
As a Finance Systems & Operations Manager, you are a hands-on and detail-oriented Manager that will support the execution of finance system initiatives within our SAP S/4HANA environment. This role will allow you to focus on delivering key components of cross-functional projects, including—but not limited to—mergers and acquisitions (M&A), system enhancements, and enterprise projects impacting finance. You will have strong experience in SAP finance modules, a solid foundation in accounting or financial operations, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to ensure successful implementation of system changes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution & Delivery:
Act as a Finance subject matter expert (SME) on SAP S/4HANA-related projects and enterprise initiatives.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure finance requirements are accurately captured and implemented.
Evaluate new SAP capabilities and enhancements for potential adoption across finance functions.
Maintain strong working relationships with finance leaders and subject matter experts to align on priorities and deliverables.
Partner with IT teams to ensure successful delivery of SAP-related projects, including testing, training, and change management support.
Create and provide input on documentation, training materials, and user support strategies to enhance system adoption and effectiveness.
Lead requirement gathering workshops and working sessions and meetings with stakeholders and partners
Finance Systems & Process Support:
Analyze current-state finance processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement future-state requirements aligned with SAP best practices.

Data Management & Integration:
Support financial data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities as needed.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls during system changes or integrations.
Work with IT and external vendors to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Finance, IT, and other business units to support execution of project deliverables.
Participate in workshops, working sessions, and issue resolution meetings.
Provide documentation and support training efforts for impacted teams.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial systems, including experience supporting system implementations or enhancements.
2+ years of experience supporting SAP ERP projects or systems.
Demonstrated ability to execute tasks within cross-functional projects.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong foundation in Finance, Accounting, and internal controls.
Experience working with SAP ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4HANA.
Experience with PowerBI or related technologies
Exposure to Agile, hybrid, or waterfall project environments.
Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across teams.
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and support change initiatives Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to navigate complex systems.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent years of related professional work experience may substitute
Certifications in SAP S/4HANA Finance or related areas are a plus

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
