The Patriot Missile Product Line is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as the Capacity Director. You will be responsible for increasing missile production throughput to 100/month in support of the 5-year plan and beyond. This role is key to enabling current program acceleration and creating opportunities for new awards. You will be establishing priorities, optimizing performance and execution across all Global Patriot Missile cross functional partners supporting both business and partner objectives.
This role will drive the team to think differently about how we procure, assemble, and sell our missiles. This will involve proposing and justifying capital investments, supplier investments and a ramping strategy by major subassembly. You will be challenging the status quo and looking for innovative solutions in a constrained environment.
This role will be based in Andover with the Missile Product Line Leadership and the forebody factory. It will require travel to partners both domestic and international to achieve the acceleration and capacity objectives.

Support the development of capacity roadmaps driven by strong demand and ensure alignment with the product roadmaps/development programs for the Global Patriot missile product portfolio. This includes NRE/development efforts to align with capacity expansion, engaging with the Chief Engineer on the tech roadmap and how that impacts factory and supply base support to missile production.

Develop and execute a strategy to accelerate deliveries of the GEM-T missile by working with the team to evaluate current constraints and establish mitigation plans to create opportunity in the short-term.

Develop and execute a strategy to increase capacity of GEM-T production to 100/month through second sources, company investment, govt investment, etc, directly enabling the business to sell missiles in a less constrained environment.

Overall leadership of the Patriot Missile product line cross functional and NRE teams driving toward capacity objectives and program milestones

Support the resolution of risks and identification of opportunities and escalate as appropriate

Develop and lead a team of direct and indirect reports. Focus, motivate, and reward the team, enabling them to achieve desired results

Establish and build strong industry partner relationships

Act as empowered authority to accomplish ramp to 100 objectives

Expect to support domestic and international travel as needed

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 14 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 12 years’ experience

Prior experience in one or more of the following: program management, engineering, operations, integrated supply chain, and/or quality

Prior leadership experience managing risk, cost, quality, and schedule

Prior experience working cross functionally with various team members to include engineering, operations, integrated supply chain, and/or quality
Qualifications We Prefer:

Understanding of the DoD acquisition, procurement and sell-off environment and processes, through US Army/PM SHIELD

Demonstrated experience managing complex program execution, including development, production and/or localization

Proficiency in developing and presenting strategic plans to senior management, as well as responsibility for executing approved plans

Patriot Hardware experience

PMX Level 4 Certification

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
