The Opportunity
You’ve led teams. You’ve driven results. Now you’re ready for something bigger.
The District Advisor (DA) role is built for experienced financial services leaders who want to move beyond managing and start building—with the ability to scale a business, develop leaders, and unlock uncapped growth potential.
As a DA, you will operate as an independent business owner and registered principal, leading a team of financial advisors serving military families while driving the growth and performance of your own district.
This is not a producing role. Your success is defined by the team you build and the business you scale.
What Makes This Different
- Own the outcome – You are accountable for the performance and profitability of your district
- Build at scale – Grow a team of advisors, not just a book of business
- Uncapped upside – Your success is directly tied to the growth you create
- Operate independently – Lead your business within a structured, proven platform
What You’ll Own
You will operate and lead a locally managed financial services business, with full accountability for its performance. This includes:
- Leading and growing existing First Command–registered branch offices, including negotiating and holding leases
- Hiring, employing, and managing district staff
- Managing district operations and expenses, including allocating shared costs across advisors
- Overseeing business planning, budgeting, and day-to-day operations
- Making financial investments to support growth and performance expectations
- Owning the financial results of the district, including growth, expenses, and overall profitability
What You’ll Do
Build and scale a high-performing advisor organization
- Recruit and develop financial advisors who grow the business
- Drive consistent performance across pipeline activity, production, and client outcomes
- Coach advisors to improve client acquisition, planning quality, and long-term success
- Create a culture of accountability, growth, and professionalism
Lead as a registered principal
- Provide supervision and oversight of advisor activities
- Reinforce a strong compliance and client-first culture
Grow your market
- Expand your district through local business development and community relationships
- Build long-term presence within the military and broader community
Who This Is For
This role is designed for mid-career leaders who are ready to bet on themselves:
- You’ve led teams in financial services (branch, regional, or office leadership)
- You’re a builder, not someone looking to maintain the status quo
- You want more control over your outcomes and earning potential
- You’re motivated by growth, scale, and long-term value creation
- You’re comfortable operating with accountability, not a safety net
