This position supports the Army Prepositioned Stocks – 4 (APS-4) Program located at Camp Humphreys, Korea. The Contractor Production Controller will comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations, local safety policies, and KBR’s Zero Harm program.

Job Summary

The Contractor Production Controller supports the APS-4 maintenance operation at Camp Humphreys, Korea by managing production data, man-hour accountability, work order control, and reporting functions through GCSS-Army. This position collaborates with site management and leadership to develop and manage the maintenance workload, ensures man-hours are accurately entered and reported, and tracks parts, faults, and work order status across the maintenance operation.

The Contractor Production Controller retrieves and analyzes production reports, calculates production factors such as equipment types and quantities, materials used, scrap rates, defect frequency, and production rates, and prepares written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities. The position is also responsible for preparing metrics using charts, graphs, and Microsoft Office tools, and for sorting and distributing work orders and material to maintenance workers.

Roles and Responsibilities

Collaborate with site management and leadership to develop and manage the maintenance workload using GCSS-Army.

Enter employee daily man-hours by task into GCSS-Army so that total cost per piece of equipment worked on is accurately displayed and reported.

Ensure man-hours assigned to the maintenance operation are accurately recorded and reported; print man-hour utilization reports as required.

Enter and close equipment faults; open and close unscheduled work orders; track Class IX parts through the supply and maintenance cycle.

Retrieve production reports based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed following prescribed record-keeping procedures.

Calculate production factors including types and quantities of production, materials used, scrap amounts, defect frequency, and production rates.

Prepare written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities; sort and distribute work orders and material to maintenance workers.

Prepare metrics using charts, graphs, and software tools such as Microsoft Office or equivalent applications.

Maintain a basic working knowledge of GCSS-Army and proficiency in current USG portals to obtain information required for the job.

Comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations, local safety policies, and KBR’s Zero Harm program.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. Passport.

Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License.

Ability to provide documentation to qualify as US EXPAT Invited Contractor Status and SOFA Visa IAW USFK 700-19 Regulation.

Favorable adjudication of an NACI background check.

Eight to ten years of quality or operational experience in maintenance logistics or a related field.

Certificate from a vocational school or other recognized source with GCSS-Army training is required.

Skilled in the use of GCSS-Army; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent tools required.

In lieu of formal coursework, a combination of college credits, on-the-job training, other formalized training, or experience may be considered.

Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.

Required to pass initial and periodic drug and medical screening.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management, Logistics Management, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related engineering field is preferred.

Equivalent experience in the Maintenance Logistics Field or U.S. Army MOS 92A may be substituted for part or all of the education requirement if deemed in the best interest of the company.

Prior experience supporting APS, PREPO, or other War Reserve materiel programs is preferred.
