This position supports the Army Prepositioned Stocks – 4 (APS-4) Program located at Camp Humphreys, Korea. The Contractor Production Controller will comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations, local safety policies, and KBR’s Zero Harm program.
Job Summary
The Contractor Production Controller supports the APS-4 maintenance operation at Camp Humphreys, Korea by managing production data, man-hour accountability, work order control, and reporting functions through GCSS-Army. This position collaborates with site management and leadership to develop and manage the maintenance workload, ensures man-hours are accurately entered and reported, and tracks parts, faults, and work order status across the maintenance operation.
The Contractor Production Controller retrieves and analyzes production reports, calculates production factors such as equipment types and quantities, materials used, scrap rates, defect frequency, and production rates, and prepares written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities. The position is also responsible for preparing metrics using charts, graphs, and Microsoft Office tools, and for sorting and distributing work orders and material to maintenance workers.
Roles and Responsibilities
Calculate production factors including types and quantities of production, materials used, scrap amounts, defect frequency, and production rates.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
In lieu of formal coursework, a combination of college credits, on-the-job training, other formalized training, or experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management, Logistics Management, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related engineering field is preferred.
