Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Cryogenic Assembly Engineer, you will work independently or in collaboration with other engineers, scientists or technicians in support of the quantum development program through the assembly, installation, operation and maintenance of the complex cryogenic equipment that cools our quantum devices.
Preferred Education
Bachelor's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Mechanical assembly, including reading assembly drawings, bills of materials, procedures, and similar documentation.
- Use of hand tools.
- Operation and/or maintenance of cryogenic or high vacuum equipment.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Operation and maintenance of dilution refrigerators.
- Installation of devices, wiring, and associated components in cryogenic environments.
- Reading and understanding process flow and process & instrumentation drawings.
- Assembly of electronic and/or microwave systems.
- Computer-aided design of mechanical components and assemblies.
