Position Description
As a Talent Sourcer within the CGI Federal Talent Acquisition team, you will be the engine behind our cleared talent pipelines. This role requires an innovative, driven professional who can navigate complex organizational challenges, map tight talent markets, and deliver high-quality passive candidate slates to support the rapid growth of CGI Federal.
Your Future Duties and Responsibilities
- Architect Advanced Sourcing Strategies: Devise and implement comprehensive sourcing campaigns to identify elite, passive talent utilizing AI-driven sourcing tools, boolean logic, deep-web scraping, cold outreach, professional organizations, and market research.
- Pipeline Velocity & Management: Build and nurture robust, proactive pipelines of cleared technical and functional professionals to align with both immediate contract wins and future business requirements.
- Integrate Next-Gen AI Techniques: Actively incorporate cutting-edge AI utilities and automation platforms into daily workflows to optimize candidate matching, outreach personalization, and market mapping efficiency.
- Front-End Evaluation: Conduct initial phone screens and rigorous capability assessments to ensure candidates align technically, culturally, and security-wise before transitioning them to full-lifecycle TA colleagues.
- Market Intelligence Consultation: Function as a subject matter expert to TA colleagues and business leaders by providing real-time data on talent availability, competitor landscape, and clearing trends.
- Data Integrity & Compliance: Maintain immaculate data hygiene within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and CRM platforms, ensuring strict compliance with OFCCP regulations, federal employment laws, and internal procedures.
- Promote Diversity & Referral Networks: Actively identify and present diverse candidate slates to support corporate inclusion initiatives, while aggressively championing and driving the internal Employee Referral Program.
- Community Engagement: Represent CGI Federal at local career fairs, cleared tech events, and professional conferences to expand brand footprint.
Required Qualifications to Be Successful in This Role
- Federal TA Alignment: Proven experience sourcing within the Federal Government contracting sector, demonstrating a strong understanding of federal contract vehicles and agency landscapes.
- Cleared Talent Acumen: Demonstrated capability or strong foundational knowledge in hunting and mapping candidates with active federal security clearances (Secret, TS/SCI, Polygraphs).
- Sales & Hunting Mindset: Strong sales acumen with comfort in cold outreach, direct networking, and compellingly marketing CGI Federal’s value proposition to passive talent.
- Technical Agility: Advanced proficiency with modern sourcing toolsets (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, cleared job boards, AI sourcing assistants, CRM platforms) and complex boolean strings.
- Ambiguity & Pace: Highly adaptable with the resilience to build targeted pipelines even when provided with limited or rapidly changing position requirements and tight deadlines.
- Consultative Relationship Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of providing consultative updates and market feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Compliance Foundations: Working knowledge of OFCCP regulations, applicant tracking compliance, and federal hiring guidelines.
- Location & Travel: Ability to work onsite in CGI Federal’s Belton office and travel up to 25% as required for events and team collaboration.
