What this job involves:
As a Sourcing Coordinator at JLL, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) and Procurement operations across our Latin American portfolio. Reporting directly to a Sourcing Manager, you'll help manage multiple sourcing initiatives and vendor relationships while ensuring procurement governance and compliance across Colombia, Chile, and Argentina. This position sits at the intersection of strategic sourcing and day-to-day vendor management, where you'll execute RFP programs, negotiate contracts, and drive sustainable savings for our clients. What your day-to-day will look like:
Manage the RFP, pricing, and negotiation process on behalf of clients, establishing savings targets and developing metrics for tracking performance and outcomes
Provide account support in managing JLL's Procurement Module, including vendor performance management and delivering regular reporting to client account teams
Implement and maintain integrated outsourcing strategies, standards, and guidelines, including training materials, cost parameters, and procurement tools and templates
Conduct quarterly business reviews with vendors to actively manage relationships, assess performance, and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
Collaborate with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with JLL and client-approved standards
Monitor and communicate macroeconomic impacts on supplier services across Latin American countries, ensuring procurement teams remain aligned on regional market conditions
Search out new competitive opportunities within assigned categories and drive continuous improvement to maintain an industry-leading position
Assess the regional market environment and supply base to identify major industry trends, threats, and opportunities that inform sourcing strategies
Support the development and communication of the IFM and Sourcing vision to clients, JLL teams, vendors, and strategic alliance partners
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sourcing, procurement, or similar role within the facilities management or real estate industry
Proven experience managing outsourcing relationships and achieving results through effective vendor management
Strong analytical ability with competency in financial modeling, feasibility studies, and total cost of ownership analysis
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage complex problems and generate practical solutions
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to manage dispute situations professionally and constructively
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Fluency in local language (Spanish for Colombia and Argentina; Spanish or Portuguese for regional coordination)
Preferred qualifications:
Relevant work experience in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) with knowledge of procurement for services related to facility management operations
English proficiency for communication with global teams and stakeholders
Portuguese proficiency to support regional coordination across Latin America
Experience working in a matrix organization with cross-functional teams across multiple countries or regions
Proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings through strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations
Ability to coach and work collaboratively with cross-functional groups in an atmosphere of uncertainty and change
Strong influencing skills with the capability to challenge the status quo and drive innovative procurement solutions
