Marketing Manager II - Retention & Reactivation, Amazon Music Outbound
Overview
The Amazon Music Outbound team is seeking a Marketing Manager II to own retention and reactivation across email and push. The goal is direct: keep Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers, win back the ones who lapse, and reactivate Amazon Music for Prime customers. Retention is where this team is investing in 2026, and this role sits at the center of it with a dedicated experiment roadmap and single-threaded ownership of the outcome.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end campaign execution for AMU retention and reactivation programs across email and push
- Activate 20+ retention experiments in 2026, testing messaging frameworks, promotional constructs, and cohort targeting
- Build audience segments and targeting criteria for each program
- Write messaging and creative briefs, and complete the SOPs that launch each test
- Monitor experiment performance, quantify incremental lift, and report findings to stakeholders
- Scale reactivation programs for inactive AMU subscribers
- Accelerate auto-renew-off (AR-off) recovery experimentation
- Develop cross-tier re-engagement strategies for Amazon Music for Prime customers
- Partner with tier marketing and product to align roadmaps and scale winning strategies
Requirements
Must-haves:
- Audience segmentation and targeting for lifecycle campaigns
- CRM or performance marketing experience
- A/B testing: designing the test, reading the results, quantifying incremental lift
- Hands-on email and push campaign execution
- Retention/lifecycle marketing ownership
- Bachelor's degree
Nice-to-haves:
- Subscription business background
- High-volume experimentation programs
- Attribution modeling and incrementality measurement

Logistics
- Contract: 6 months (with possibility of extension or conversion based on performance)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch (40 hours/week)
- Location: Culver City CA
- Interview process: 1-hour phone screen with the hiring manager, then a 1-hour Zoom interview with hiring panel

The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $68/hour - $75/hour.
