Job Summary and Qualifications
What you will do:
- Supervises Radiology departments and front desk personnel within Medical Imaging.
- Assists in performing imaging procedures in assigned modalities
- Oversees the continuation of providing quality patient care while striving to reduce costs of assigned areas.
- Maintains a steady workflow through their departments.
- Ensures effective departmental operations in accordance with budgetary guidelines, departmental standards and all applicable regulatory requirements
- Oversees the day to day staffing schedules and requirements of their department.
- Performs radiology exams of patients maintaining a high quality of care and completes all functions associated with procedure in a timely manner.
- Takes call as necessary.
- Participates in PI plan.
- Participates and assists department management with ACR accreditation activities and requirements, including quality assurance programs related to the requirements.
- Maintains supplies and inventory.
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology
- (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- (AB) Registered Abdomen
- (RVT) Registered Vascular Tech
- 3 years post-graduate experience and 2 years supervisory/lead experience preferred

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 159-bed facility providing quality healthcare to Sumner and surrounding counties for more than 45 years.
