Job Summary and Qualifications
The Materials Management Rep will act as a resource individual to coordinate the daily activities of requisitioning in order to meet the procurement demands of the hospital and the offsite facilities. This position will work in concerted effort with the departmental staff to provide for the timely acquisition and distribution of stock and non-stock supplies, equipment, and services. What qualifications you will need:
- High School Graduate
- Minimum of three years experience in a medically related supply position in a hospital setting.
- Prior experience with computerized inventory control systems preferred.
- Proficient data entry skills necessary for utilizing a CRT in an efficient manner
- Proficient typing skills and the ability to use a ten-key calculator by touch
- Advanced communication skills, professional manner, and flexibility necessary for working in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment
- Manual dexterity for long hours of keying data and use of office equipment
