Our 3 South East Bariatric & Medical Surgical Unit cares for patients undergoing bariatric procedures and those requiring comprehensive medical-surgical care. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our collaborative team.
As a member of 3 South East, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while working alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members dedicated to positive patient outcomes.
What You'll Do:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
- Deliver safe, evidence-based care to bariatric and medical-surgical patients.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policy.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Promote patient safety, quality initiatives, and excellent patient experiences.
What We're Looking For:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact state eligibility.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills.

The 3 South East Bariatric & Medical Surgical Unit specializes in caring for patients undergoing weight-loss surgery and those requiring acute medical-surgical services. Nurses on this unit develop expertise in post-operative care, patient education, pain management, mobility protocols, and multidisciplinary care coordination.
