About CBRE Experience Services:
CBRE is the world’s largest commercial real estate services firm. Within CBRE, the Experience Services business partners with leading companies to design and operate workplace environments that people actually want to come to. We treat the daily experience of work as a product worth obsessing over—and we staff our sites with people who feel the same way.
About the Role:
This role is located at a global headquarters — a high-visibility building where C-suite executives, board members, and international guests are present every day. This role owns the hospitality and programming layer of GHQ — F&B rituals, community activation, and the day-to-day experience that shapes how employees and guests feel in the space. It is a net new position that fills a critical gap between operational execution and genuine workplace culture-building, and directly supports the elevated experience vision of GHQ.
What You'll Do:
* Daily F&B programming: pantry activation, grab-and-go partnerships, and weekly food rituals.
* Owns the new employee onboarding experience: office tours, welcome moments, and early engagement touchpoints that connect employees to GHQ's culture and community.
* Meeting room hospitality: beverage service, catering coordination, and elevated presentation.
* Community programming: recurring social, educational, and thematic events.
* Employee and guest arrival experience, in coordination with Experience Associates.
* Internal communications around programming and activations.
* Measurement of employee engagement and experience satisfaction.
A Typical Day May Look Like:
The day starts with a walk of the floor - checking that the lobby is immaculate, executive reception is set, conference rooms are turned, and every amenity space looks the way it should for a build that senior leadership will move through all day. You may check-in with the Experience Associates and day porters — aligning on what's set up, what's coming, and where attention is needed. You’re scanning the day's schedule: which meetings need hospitality support, whether the F&B activation is on track, and if any VIP moments need a closer eye. Mid-morning might be a vendor call to refine next week's grab-and-go selection or a quick walk of the floor to assess how the pantry and common areas are presenting. After lunch you may shift toward programming — finalizing details for an upcoming community event, drafting the employee communication, or reviewing feedback from the last activation to iterate the next one. The afternoon is planning and coordination: working through the week ahead, flagging anything that needs to be escalated to the Senior Manager, and ensuring the associates and porters have what they need to close out the day well.
Winning In This Role Looks Like:
* Executive arrivals, VIP visits, and high-profile events are handled without visible seams
* New employees at this site describe their first day as exceptional — because in a GHQ, that first impression reflects the entire organization.
* The day-to-day environment reflects a consistent standard — not because someone is inspecting it, but because the people responsible for it understand what's expected.
* The GHQ community calendar runs with intention — employees know what's coming, show up for it, and feel like the space was designed with them in mind.
You'll Love This Role and Succeed At It If...
* You notice what other people miss. You walk into a lobby and see three things that need adjusting before you've set down your bag. In a building this visible, that instinct isn't optional.
* You understand that a global headquarters is a different environment. When the people in the building, including the CEO, board members, or an international delegation, are present, there is no such thing as a small detail.
* You're comfortable in a matrixed world. You report to CBRE, but your daily reality is shaped by a client with their own culture and priorities. You navigate that without losing your grounding.
* You solve before you escalate. When something goes wrong — a vendor no-show, a coverage gap, an escalated complaint — you figure it out before it reaches the floor or the client.
* You're energized by building community, not just executing events. You think in recurring rituals and long-term rhythms, not one-off moments.
* You care deeply about first impressions. Whether it's a new hire's first day or a visitor's first five minutes, you understand that those moments are disproportionately important.
This Might NOT Be The Role For You If...
* You're used to managing up rather than managing the floor. This role requires real presence and hands-on leadership.
* You haven't worked in a high-visibility, executive-facing environment before. The pace and precision required at a GHQ are different in kind, not just degree — a missed detail is rarely invisible here.
* You need a lot of structure from above. Expectations are clear; how you meet them is largely yours to figure out.
* You're uncomfortable having difficult conversations when service falls short.
* You're most comfortable when someone else sets the creative direction. This role requires you to have a genuine point of view on programming, community, and what a great workplace experience looks and feels like.
* You prefer individual task execution over coordination. A significant part of this role is directing others — associates, porters, vendors — toward a shared standard without formal authority over them.
