BAE Systems is seeking a passionate and driven Alternate Contractor SAP Security Officer (ACSSO) to join our rapidly expanding security team in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Because this role relies on regular in‑person collaboration and includes responsibilities that are only supported onsite, it is expected to be performed primarily at a BAE Systems facility. This means the position is considered an onsite role, with work generally conducted at a company location.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Government manuals/directives, as well as corporate/segment policies and standard operational procedures.
- Manage daily security tasks including combination changes, guard instructions, courier/destruction activities, and security support for office moves.
- Provide classification guidance to employees and support CSSOs with security self-inspections and audits.
- Investigate security incidents and violations, preparing comprehensive reports with recommended preventative measures.
- Manage personnel security clearances and access, reviewing submittal packages for accuracy and completeness prior to customer submission.
- Ensure all business operations adhere to the highest ethical standards and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and deliver basic security briefings as required.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments, business areas, and the company segments to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Contribute to a holistic security posture by supporting other critical disciplines, including Personnel, Physical, Cyber, COMSEC, Document Control, and Visitor Control.
- Participate in after-hours alarm response.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Minimum of two years of relevant security experience and a high school diploma.
- Active, current SECRET security clearance.
- Read and interpret DoW SAP Manuals.
- Ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) access.
- Willingness to complete a Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CSP).
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable software tools.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Experience interpreting and working with federal security regulations such as the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $67406 - $114590
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
