Standard Job Description
Conducts or participates in the selection, evaluation, qualification, testing and failure analysis of Electrical, Electronic, Electromechanical and Electro-optical (EEEE) Components. Plans, directs, reviews and coordinates the preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met. Prepares EEEE Component Source Control Drawings (SCDs), evaluates vendors and analyzes EEEE Component test reports. The Component Engineer is responsible for the oversight of Subcontractor EEEE Components, generating/reviewing/approving Non-Standard Part Approval Requests (NSPARs) at Parts, Materials and Process Control Board (PMPCB) meetings, reviewing and approving engineering drawings and SCDs, participating/leading PMP issue resolutions, assisting/leading failure analysis under the EEEE Components domain and proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or related technical field.
Basic knowledge of design, functionality, manufacturing, materials and processes used in EEE parts.
Desired Skills
Formal coursework, training, experience and/or knowledge in the design, analysis, and/or construction of electrical parts and circuits, semiconductor physics and/or operation of devices such as hybrids, integrated circuits, transistors, diodes and capacitors
Experience or knowledge of failure analysis, destructive physical analysis and/or root cause and corrective action analysis related to EEE parts
Familiarity with technical requirements (specifications, program plans/requirements, etc.)
Active TS/SCI
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $65500.00 - $121700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
