Our Supply Chain Management Team is leading the charge in procuring material across a diverse global supply base to support the sustainment of multiple aircraft platforms around the world. As a Subcontract Administrator within the Derco Supply Chain Management Organization, you will be working with a world class organization responsible for:
• Collaborating with Capture team to generate RFP packages, analyze subcontract proposals and negotiate price and terms.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)requirements and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)
• Integrate with other departments to achieve customer objectives.

Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education 3+ years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
- Experience in one or more of the following fields: supply chain, statistics, mathematics, material cost estimating, contracts, compliance, financial analysis, cost analysis, material forecasting.
- Working knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR and DFAR
- Supply Chain, logistics, and supplier negotiations experience.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and be accountable for all assignments
- Self-motivated and demonstrated sense of urgency
- Must be proficient Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Desired Skills
- Experience writing and reviewing FAR compliant Price Analyses and Proposals
- Comprehensive understanding of supplier flow downs and proposal packages
- Ability to interact with senior management, suppliers and other external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordination between functional organizations
- Ability to think outside the box and bring unique solutions to the table
- Ability to conduct supplier visits as necessary
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
