Job Description BAE Systems has an immediate need to fill a key Executive Officer (EXO) position in support of the client’s operational requirements in a challenging, fast paced environment located in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The position requires an active security clearance with a polygraph examination. There is no exception to the clearance requirement. Successful candidates will work well in team environments and will be capable of operating independently with minimal supervision. Candidates will be expected to effectively interact with customer personnel at all levels within the customer organization. The position requires prior experience supporting HUMINT and technical operations and familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectives.
Job Description: In addition to the clearance requirement, successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in the functions of an EXO and familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its concomitant functions. The primary function of the EXO is to ensure operational efficiency by managing taskings, coordinating high-level administrative requirements, and maintaining the data-driven metrics that track organization health and progress. This role is critical in synchronizing activities between the office, multiple organizations, and the broader enterprise. Daily activities include:
- Coordinate organizational taskings from the customer across the internal team and the larger organization
- Submit and track facility and access requests
- Maintain and update internal trackers to monitor collaboration efforts across multiple organizations and cross-functional initiatives
- Assist in preparing comprehensive interview packets and scheduling interviews
- Provide end-to-end support for All Hands meetings
- Develop, maintain, and standardize presentation materials used across the organization
- Create, organize, and actively manage organizational operational metrics
- Ensure all organization trackers are current and data is validated for executive review
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of related experience
- Proven experience in an EXO, Chief of Staff, or Senior Operational Lead role within a corporate or defense environment
- Ability to commit to a 5-day/40-hour work week with guaranteed coverage until 15:30
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and taskings across a large, complex organization
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to plan and organize tasks independently and exercise sound operational judgment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with executive leadership
- Advanced skills in presentation software (PowerPoint) and data management tools (Excel/SharePoint) for tracking metrics and collaboration
- Ability to translate raw operational data into executive-level briefings and dashboards

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317
