Job Summary and Qualifications
The Business Intelligence Analyst II provides operational and financial analysis to PSC operational units and senior leadership. As a part of the Financial Reporting team, this person will be responsible to move, integrate, and transform data into business insights.
What you will do in this role:
- Collaborate with Database Administrators, Architecture, and Operational leadership teams
- Proficient in various databases using SQL programming to perform queries related to report and dashboard creation at scale
- Analyze business needs to produce valuable insights
- Prepares on-demand analytics and ad-hoc reports
- Design and develop Reports from Data Warehouse using BI tools
- Function as a domain expert the for Physician Revenue Cycle data warehouse
- Expertise in building various reports and dashboards using business intelligence platforms, such as MS Excel, MicroStrategy and Power BI
- Ability to identify areas of opportunity through data discovery
- Accurately interpret business requirements and translate into actionable data visualizations
- Leads the process of eliciting and documenting business, user, functional and non-functional requirements. Creates assigned/appropriate deliverables as a part of assigned projects or ad hoc development assignments
- Effectively communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Create and prepare presentations or reports for PSC senior leadership team
- Perform other related duties as assigned in order to support the goals of the PSC
- Take ownership of responsibilities, working individually or with teams to accomplish goals
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Minimum five years’ experience in related area preferred with two of these years being in healthcare
