ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and eliminate EHS hazards and risks and reduce the related costs.
Demonstrate proficiency in EHS and Risk Management relational databases and Microsoft applications in order to analyze data, identify trends and prepare reports and presentations from the data.
Review and develop internal safety policies and practices and ensures they are current and appropriate.
Conduct accident investigations to determine root cause and necessary corrective actions for sustainable results.
Develop and implement policies and practices to identify and mitigate hazardous conditions.
Conduct hazard and risk assessments and develops new or, where necessary, makes recommendations to amend safety policies and procedures.
Promote environmental, health and safety awareness through continuous and timely EHS communications. ~ Develop and deliver training programs related to OSHA, EPA and customer regulations and requirements.
Administer the accident investigation program to prevent recurrence of incidents and to ensure information on incidents is shared adequately across all programs.
Actively participate in the scheduling of safety meetings on program to review safety performance.
Provide written reports, as well as other EHS-related results and updates to management periodically to appraise the staff of critical issues or as requested.
Ensure environmental health and safety programs conform to established standards, applicable regulatory requirements, and customer specifications, thereby achieving high customer satisfaction levels.
Monitor and assist operations in the enforcement of health and safety regulations.
Facilitate incident investigations, root cause analysis and closure of corrective actions.
Identify, share and assist in communicating and institutionalizing EHS Best Practices.
Acts as a Subject Matter Expert advisor regarding EHS contractual SOW/PWS requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
10 years' experience with large, complex requirements of similar program. Professional Certification in Industrial Hygiene, Safety or Environmental Sciences (Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH); Certified Safety Professional (CSP); Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP).
PREFFERRED EXPERIENCE
Bachelors or Master's of Science from ABET accredited program in Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, Environmental Sciences or related equivalent degree.

$196,000 -$247,0000
