Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Lead Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist at HCA Healthcare, you’ll have access to the latest surgical tools, staffing and efficient scheduling resources, and leadership support to guide your team with confidence during every delivery. You’ll manage the surgical suite, mentor surgical technologists, and ensure the team is prepared for safe, efficient obstetric care. You’ll invest in your own development while supporting a passionate, patient-focused team committed to improving the lives of families every day.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading surgical suite preparation by organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
- Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and transport while maintaining comfort, safety, and privacy
- Supporting the surgical team during procedures by anticipating needs and providing instruments and supplies
- Guiding and mentoring Surgical Technologists and sharing updates on processes, equipment, and best practices
- Maintaining sterile technique, performing counts, and ensuring a safe, organized environment for patients and staff
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- High School Graduate / GED
- Vocational/Technical graduate of Surgical Technician program
- 1 years experience Required
