The Analyst, Care Associate supports Behavioral Health Medicare operations by providing administrative, care coordination, and workflow support services to clinical teams, members, and providers. This role helps ensure timely, accurate processing of behavioral health requests, supports member access to care, facilitates discharge planning and follow-up activities, and assists with reporting and quality initiatives. Care Associate – Behavioral Health Medicare Precert

Are you detail-oriented, customer-focused, and passionate about supporting behavioral health services? Join our team as a Care Associate and play a critical role in the Behavioral Health Medicare Review process, helping ensure timely, accurate communication and coordination for members and providers.
What You'll Do
- Support clinical teams through administrative and workflow activities related to behavioral health care management and authorization processes.
- Prepare and distribute accurate correspondence to members and providers
- Support time-sensitive workflows while ensuring compliance with CMS and company requirements
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective case processing
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, organization, and customer service
WHAT YOU BRING - REQUIRED
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM EST
- 2+ years of experience in the health insurance industry
- Customer service experience in healthcare and/or a behavioral health setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage regulated, time-sensitive work
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of Behavioral Health experience supporting mental health populations
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, resolve service challenges, and improve processes
- Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Experience scheduling and processing denials
Education
Associate degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$21.10 - $40.90
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
