Job Summary and Qualifications
The Centennial heart Cardiac MRI program director provides general oversight, coordination, and growth of the Cardiac MRI imaging modality at sites where reading is performed by Centennial Heart cardiologists. This individual will focus on promoting high cardiac MRI image quality as well as providing leadership to MRI technology staff performing cardiac studies.
What You Will Do in This Role:
Verify and instruct MRI technologists regarding cardiac MRI protocols and post processing for Cardiac MRI studies read by Centennial Heart.
Serve as the “project manager/liaison” for all new cardiac MRI program development. This will involve coordinating program start up and interface with technologists on-site, radiology directors, administrative staff at hospital, and interaction with vendors (typically GE or Siemens). This functionality will require both virtual and in-person presents. The latter during program start up. Tasks for this role are extensive and range from scanner selection, protocol implementation, order forms, appropriate contrast administration, protocols for device scanning, etc.
