Title:
RF Hardware Engineer
KBR is seeking an RF engineer to support one of our government customers. The engineer will be required to provide expertise to the Government in the design, performance, and acquisition of a major program. The job is in a new program office, and the schedule is challenging.
Duties will also include supporting major milestones and testing events and reviewing requirements and test documents. Reviewing the performance and testing results, then advising the Government on the success or failure of the test and design. The RF Engineer will be responsible for supervising contractor design, performance testing, analysis, and verification. Participate in design reviews and advise the Government on performance and design risks. Perform on a team that oversees all aspects of the design and build of the RF mission payload.
Minimum Qualifications:
o8+ Years of relevant experience with a BS in Engineering, Scientific, or Technical discipline or 6+ Years of relevant experience with an MS in Engineering, Scientific, or Technical discipline or 5+ Years of relevant experience with a PhD in Engineering, Scientific, or Technical discipline.
oExperience with the system design trade process, assessing system design options, analyzing mission requirements, monitoring system development, test development/execution.
oExperience designing and evaluating RF HW design Experience with NRO mission programs and enterprise.
Desired Qualifications:
o3+ years experience with NRO space and RF systems acquisition and/or sustainment.
oUnderstanding RF systems engineering, acquisition, and operations best practices.
o3+ years experience with NRO space and RF systems acquisition and/or sustainment.
o3+ years experience with RF HW design.
Security Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
