Procurement Package Manager

KBR is seeking an experiencedProcurement Package Managerto provide strategic leadership and oversight for all procurement and supply chain activities supporting a major pharmaceutical capital project. This role is accountable for developing and executing procurement strategies that ensure equipment, materials, and services are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality, regulatory, and company requirements. The Procurement Package Manager serves as a key member of the project leadership team and works closely with Engineering, Construction, Quality, Operations, Finance, Legal, Project Controls, and Suppliers to support successful project execution from design through startup and operational readiness.
Functional Job Responsibilities Will IncludeButAre Not Limited To:
Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project safety, quality, schedule, and budgetobjectives.
Lead sourcing, contracting,purchasing,logistics, supplier quality,expediting, inspection, and materials management activities.
Direct procurement personnel and provide leadership, coaching, performance management, and professional development.
Develop and implement commercial strategies for major equipment, construction, subcontract, and service contracts.
Lead supplier evaluations, bid processes, negotiations, contract awards, and contract administration activities.
Negotiate EPC, EPCM, equipment, subcontract, and service agreements to achieve projectobjectivesand commercial value.
Manage supplier performance, contract compliance, claims, dispute resolution, and commercial risk mitigation activities.
Ensure supplier compliance with quality, regulatory, ethical sourcing, and sustainability requirements.
Partner with Finance and Project Controls to support forecasting, reporting, cost management, and project governance activities.
Leverage procurement systems, sourcing technologies, analytics, and Power BI tools to support decision-making and reporting.
Provide procurement updates, performance metrics, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to project leadership and executive stakeholders.
Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, quality, operations,logistics, and project controls teams to ensure integrated project execution.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, ora relateddiscipline.
Minimum 15 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, strategic sourcing, or capital project procurement.
Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, EPC, or EPCM projects.
Strong contract negotiation, commercial management, supplier management,and changemanagement experience.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biologics, vaccine, cell therapy, or biotechnology manufacturing facilities.
Ability to travel up to 30% asrequiredduring project planning, execution, commissioning, and startup activities.
