Title:
Project Manager
KBR is looking for a highly experienced Project Manager with over 10 years of experience in Government contracting, acquisition lifecycle and associated processes to include legal practices, policy, and regulatory development, review, and compliance to support the Hemisphere program. Successful candidates will have experience working in the Government (military and/or civil servant) and with Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) individuals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provides space acquisition, engineering, operations, and technical expertise and assistance for projects and programs for Hemisphere execution
-Supports program acquisition efforts for advanced technology, future concept development, and integration activities
-Serves as a technical advisor and assists the Government on cost, schedule, and performance matters
-Provides draft programmatic status reports of individual programs or of the portfolio of programs
-Provides technical and operational insight to support mission protection, operations, and mission data assessments
-Recommends actionable solutions for technical anomalies
-Develops, delivers, reviews, and evaluates impact analysis, audits, studies, compliance inspections, and readiness reviews
-Assists the Government in planning and coordinating infrastructure projects and requirements
-Provides and executes solutions to establish capabilities at various locations at both the unclassified and classified levels
-Leads the operation and maintenance of an already built and accredited (or can be accredited) SCI facility/SAF facility for use by Government and Contractor personnel
-Advises and assists Government in digital engineering initiatives for acquisition, sustainment and launch
-Documents the current digital landscape and identifies gaps in digital acquisition and engineering strategy
-Build out the inventory of tasks and initiatives needed to support SSC’s future endeavors and customizes the inventory data structure to account for USSF and SSC requirements
-Develop an integrated digital roadmap that provides an executable path to reach SSC’s digital acquisition and engineering objectives
-Assists with the application and implementation of digital acquisition and engineering methodologies to include recommended tools for SSC programs
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-M.A./M.S. in related technical field (i.e. Systems Engineering)
-Over 10 years of experience, with 6 years of the desired 10 years of experience should include duties/assignments specifically in support of the Department of Defense
-Well versed in DoD/NRO acquisition lifecycle processes, phases, and critical decision milestones

TARGET SALARY FOR EL SEGUNDO, CA:
210-240K
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
