Job Summary and Qualifications
Performs all required radiological duties in accordance with LMRT license, and maintains required certification and mandatory training. Capable of performing all x-ray views according to provider’s orders, clinical practice under state law and in compliance with company policy and procedures. Maintains, calibrates and performs controls on x-ray equipment. Inspects and reports artifacts from the x-ray screen, and operates equipment according to policy and manufacturer guidelines. Completes semi-annual x-ray inspections and performs equipment audits as scheduled. Maintains records and logs on activities completed during x-rays and maintains an awareness and working knowledge of required and available reports, resources, deadlines and other information and systems. Understands and follows company compliance program policies and procedures, and actively participates in company’s Continuous Quality Improvement program if necessary. Completes incident reports and occurrence reports timely and appropriately. Works with hospital radiology for reviews and surveys, and any additional required radiology meetings and in-services.

- Maintains, calibrates and performs controls on x-ray equipment daily.
- Inspects and reports artifacts from the x-ray screen to hospital radiology department.
- Operates equipment according to policy and manufacturer guidelines. Completes semi-annual x-ray inspections. Performs equipment audits as scheduled.
Job Qualifications
- 6 months of experience in a medical setting preferred
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Current Medical Assistant Limited Medical Radiologic Tech (LMRT) certification
- (BAT) Breath Alcohol Technician must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Urine Drug Screen Collector must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- (PFT) Pulmonary Function Technologist must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
- (COHC) Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
- (LMRT) Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist, or Certificate, or High School Graduate / GED
