Job Summary and Qualifications
The Nursing Administrative Director Women's Services ensures high quality, patient-centered care through 24/7 responsibility for the performance and results of multiple areas. The Nursing Administrative Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and directs the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility and/or market objective.
Medical City Arlington is a level II trauma with 3400 deliveries per year, Level III NICU program and is an academic teaching hospital.
EDUCATION:
- Master’s degree Nursing preferred
- Bachelor’s degree Nursing required
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
- Current RN Texas or compact license required
- Current BLS required
- Specialty certification preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years management experience preferred and 3 required of multiple departments, 3 years L&D clinical experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead, engage, and cultivate a high-performing team
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a proven ability to develop staff and support professional growth
- Visible and hands on leaders who maintains a strong presence within the department and readily supports team members
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments, build strong stakeholder relationships, and drive process improvements that enhance imaging workflows, operational efficiency, and overall team performance while meeting organizational goals and expectations
