Job Description Intelligence and Security is seeking a Training Lead Instructor for the Special Projects (Silver) Team on the Space Intelligence Full-Motion Video (FMV) contract to support a government customer. Candidates will be proactive and responsible for the overall day-to-day function of direct reports, will play a vital role in on-site customer relations, and have frequent inter-organizational on-site customer contact. Successful candidates will be able to work under general direction as a member of Silver Team’s Training Staff and as a Training Lead. They will be responsible for the completion of projects as outline by Program Management and the Project Manager. Failure to meet these milestones or tasks can result in considerable delays in program scheduling or expenditure of additional resources. Candidate should demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, leadership, problem-solving skills, and promote an awareness of BAE Systems internal opportunities.
Candidate will be responsible for developing and tracking the performance of direct reports and trainees across the program to include written and verbal evaluations, as well as writing and presenting awards to direct reports. The position will require the ability to organize and prioritize both administrative and training duties.
The Training Lead Instructor must have a high-level knowledge of the Program’s analytic and training processes. They must work with the PMO and Silver Branch Chief to ensure mission needs are met through training.
In this job, you will:
- Account for and ensure staffing levels within the instructor cadre
- Mitigate shortfalls in staffing levels by working with the contractor Program Management team to ensure that daily staffing levels are met, including during times of crisis or emergency events (to include government shutdowns, business continuity planning, and closure due to inclement weather)
- Coordinate with contractor support staff like HR and Finance
- Track and ensure completion of action items
- Assist with selection of new Division Training Officer
- Process ongoing access requests for Instructor Training staff
- Attend all required meetings with customer and PMO staff
- Ensure the completion and submittal of contractor time and attendance reports, expense reports and other administrative support requirements for the contractor
- Manage a team of Division Training Officers to ensure compliance with all program requirements and customer regulations
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Must have completed the customer’s Introduction to FMV Analysis in NGA's Special Activities Division (10-day course)
- Must currently hold an Instructor role on a BAE Systems Full-motion Video program
- Must have 5+ years of Intelligence experience, or 3+ years with a BA/BS degree
- Must be in good standing with BAE Systems, and not currently undergoing administrative or corrective action for performance-related issues
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Experience with PMP, Agile, Six Sigma or other professional methodologies
- Experienced people manager with military or civilian leadership experience
- Experience in front-line training role on a BAE Systems Full-motion Video program
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
