Job Description BAE Systems, I&S Intelligence Solutions is seeking a course instructor for the Motion Imagery Intermediate Level (MITIL) Course.
Qualified candidates will:
- Deliver unclassified, in-resident Motion GEOINT instructional programs in accordance with course requirements.
- Act as the on-site manager for the students at Dulles North. Responsible for handling in processing, security documents, visitor badging, and timecards.
- Work with BAE’s Program Control Analysts to ensure new employees are linked to appropriate charge codes.
- Use instructional methods such as lectures, guided discussions, demonstrations, and small group exercises.
- Conduct assessment strategy in accordance with the course design, including instructor observation, testing, and grading.
- Provide formal and informal student feedback.
- Provide subject matter expertise throughout the course and provided feedback to Program Management team.
- Continue to evolve the VBS4 scenarios, and MITIL environment in coordination with the Program Management Team.
- Work in collaboration with the AOTX 10-Day Motion GEOINT Instructor team to model, incorporate, and execute relevant training modules at the request of the government.
- Maintain relevant Motion GEOINT skills through augmenting with associated Full-motion Video (FMV) programs on-site.
- Support I&S Intelligence Solutions FMV recruitment efforts by conducting interviews each month.
- Attend new-hire orientation either at BAE McLean or at NCE, representing I&S Intelligence Solutions to incoming FMV professionals.
- Relevant instructional expertise includes, but is not limited to, experience developing and delivering technical training and educational courses in academic, commercial, government, or industrial organizations.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Five (5) years of work experience related to GEOINT. Relevant BA/BS degree counts toward four (4) years of work experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience as a trainer/instructor and possess a minimum of 5 years relevant GEOINT experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year of AOTX-specific experience, not including time spent in trainee status.
- Demonstrated familiarity with the AOT counterterrorism mission and AOT operational environment.
- Demonstrated ability to be creative, out-of-the-box thinker who has developed training and/or established process-improvement measures that increased collective knowledge of Motion GEOINT methodology or tradecraft.
- Working knowledge of the principles of how learning styles, student feedback, and immediacy behaviors affect student satisfaction.
- Working knowledge of multiple communication strategies in student-centric environment.
- Excellent writing and briefing skills including command of grammar and business communications style, i.e. the ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely.
- Knowledge in the development and implementation of course materials.
- Experience with MS Office and associated software tools, e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Experience with Instructional Systems Design (ISD), such as the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model, and how to make course material ISD compliant.
- Experience in creating presentations, briefings, and geospatial products for demonstration purposes.
- Experience with the testing, development of curriculum, creating presentation and briefings, and evaluation of new equipment/systems.
- Experience with training in a military or Intelligence Community Environment.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
