Job Summary and Qualifications
As an HR Coordinator on the HRG HR team, you will provide operational and administrative HR support for HCA Healthcare’s Human Resources Group (HRG). This role supports HR professionals and leaders across the HR Business Partner organization, Centers of Excellence (COEs), and HR shared services. You will serve as a key point of coordination for the HRG HR team, helping HR employees and leaders navigate HR processes, systems, and transactions while ensuring requests are handled accurately and efficiently. You will partner closely with HR Business Partners and other HR teams to coordinate workforce activities, support projects and initiatives led by the HRG HR team, resolve routine issues, maintain accurate information, and help advance key team priorities. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment. Because the clients we support are HR professionals, success in this role requires strong judgment, discretion, follow-through, and the ability to quickly learn and navigate HR processes and systems.
What you will do in this role:
- Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the HRG HR team, supporting HR employees and leaders across the corporate HR organization.
- Serve as a resource for HR employees and managers by helping them navigate HR processes and systems, resolving routine questions, and connecting them with the appropriate HR team or resource when needed.
- Support workforce and requisition management, including tracking open and pending positions, gathering required information, coordinating approval workflows, maintaining accurate status information, and communicating updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate HR transactions and employee lifecycle activities, including job and organizational changes, compensation and pay actions, transfers, leaves, and terminations, partnering with HR Business Partners and HR support teams to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Assist with HR systems and process questions, troubleshoot routine issues, and coordinate with HRIS, Payroll, IT, and other teams when additional support is needed.
- Maintain trackers, reports, documentation, and other operational tools used to monitor workforce activity, transactions, and key HR processes.
- Provide coordination and administrative support for employee relations, performance management, and other sensitive HR matters, including scheduling, documentation, materials, and process logistics while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
- Support projects and strategic initiatives led by the HRG HR team, contributing to planning and execution by gathering and organizing information, preparing materials, coordinating meetings and stakeholders, tracking action items and deliverables, and helping move work from planning through implementation.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and improve HR processes, documentation, and team workflows while providing additional support based on evolving priorities across the HR organization.
What you should have for this role:
- •Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 1 or more years of relevant work experience required; experience in Human Resources, HR operations, or a corporate/professional environment preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work professionally with employees and leaders at multiple levels.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and appropriately handle sensitive employee and business information.
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple HR systems, processes, and organizational structures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
