Academic Opportunity
HCA Healthcare is seeking a BE/BC General Anesthesiologist to join the growing team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL, less than an hour north of Tampa. This opportunity offers an attractive combination of competitive compensation, excellent time away, a manageable call schedule, and the opportunity to teach and mentor anesthesiology residents in a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team environment.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Newly updated, competitive compensation plan
- $75,000 start date bonus plus relocation reimbursement
- 10 weeks away from practice
- Only 3 calls per month - 16-hour in-house shifts with post-call day off
- Minimum 40-hour work week with peel-off relief system
- Anesthesia Care Team model of 11 Anesthesiologists and 24 CRNAs covering 12 sites of Service
- Supervision ratios: APPs 1:4 |Residents 1:2
- Diverse case mix including general, orthopedics, vascular, urology, OB, GI, and endoscopy.
- No trauma or Pediatrics
- Approximately 35-40 cases per day
- Cardiothoracic anesthesia covered by a separate team.
- Dedicated GME time for teaching, mentoring, evaluations, and scholarly activities

ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program has a total complement of 15 residents and is affiliated with
