HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville is seeking a General Anesthesiologist who is interested in playing aa significant role in our ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program. Our program is associated with the HCA Healthcare/University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, and we have a complement of 15 residents. Qualified Candidates:
- Possess MD or DO
- BE/BC in Anesthesiology
- Licensed in FL
- Desire to be part of a large, cohesive team of employed hospital professionals
- Passion for graduate medical education
Opportunity Highlights:- Newly updated compensation plan + Additional core faculty GME stipend
- $75,000 start date bonus
- 10 weeks’ time away from practice
- Non-clinical GME time for didactic teaching, mentoring, evaluations, and scholarly activities
- Only 3 calls per month with guaranteed post-call days off + paid for calls taken above the minimum)
- 40-hour work week with peel-off relief system
- Anesthesia care team model of 14 anesthesiologists, 18 CRNAs and 15 residents
- Supervision ratios: APPs 1:4 | Resident 1:2
- Diverse case mix including general, orthopedics, vascular, urology, OB, GI, and endoscopy
- No trauma or pediatrics
