Our work depends on IT Quality Analyst Senior joining our team to ensure the Mission of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veteran Benefits Administration (VBA) to provide benefits to our Veterans that they have earned through military service.
GDIT is seeking a detail-oriented quality control analyst to ensure the conversion services run smoothly and generate a consistently suitable output of products that meet our Quality goals. The Senior analyst will understand the customer's needs and requirements and coordinate employee efforts and communications between management and the partner teams.
To succeed as a Quality Control Analyst, you should have excellent communication and listening skills, with strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. It would help if you were skilled in understanding scientific and technical data. You will review production quantity and quality measurements daily and become the first line of defense to resolve issues and production deviations and provide direction to our on-site digital conversion partner. The candidate will continuously monitor digital conversion operations to identify improvement areas and anticipate any factors (internal or external) that could negatively affect the quality of our services.
You will measure quality through our Quality Control (QC) program. You will help develop and maintain a Quality Control Plan to ensure all required services are performed in accordance with the task order terms and conditions of delivery schedule timelines stated in the PWS.
The Quality Control Analyst will develop and maintain methods of early detection and correction of marginal quality of service, including corrective action records (including customer complaints) in order to determine causes of deficient performance method, shall include providing timely written explanation/documentation of the correction of the defectiveness and correction of cause in response to Government corrective action reason and validating compliance with Business Rules, SOPs, and VA policies.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews and evaluates systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards.
- Identifies complex potential risks and compliance issues and provides solutions.
- May provide guidance to less experienced Quality Analyst in implementing quality standards and the execution of compliance on every stage of the process. -
- Liaises with external vendors, contractors or suppliers and provides solutions to any quality issues regarding products or services.
- Develops and implements complex quality assurance strategies and regulations.
- Oversees and may perform quality trainings.
- Oversees the documentation of the entire quality process.
- Works independently under general supervision
- May provide guidance and work leadership to less experienced analysts.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of related experience in QA role
- Experience with File Conversion Services

The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
